As they walked across the rug hand-in-hand, the newly engaged couple seemed in love. While his fiancée dazzled in a low-waisted pink dress, Jacobson, 38, chose a slightly translucent red garment. To match her female lead’s color scheme, Balfour, 35, accessorized with a pair of red and white boots and red lipstick.
When did Jacobson and Jodi Balfour go public?
After keeping their romance secret for a year, the actresses went public with their relationship in October 2021. “A year with this incredible person. I don’t know how I got so lucky,” Jacobson commented at the time on Instagram. In addition, Balfour shared a sweet photo of the couple kissing and referred to the union as “the best surprise” of her life. The Comedy Central actress originally revealed to Vanity Fair that she is bisexual in 2018, saying that she “sort of [goes] Both Ways].” She explained, “I date both men and women,” adding that her partner needed to “be resourceful” and “do something she loves.”
Balfour came out in June 2021, at the end of Pride Month, and is best remembered for her role in “Bomb Girls.” On this last day of Pride month, I am letting go of my sense of inadequacy, my space that is not mine, and my need to get it right… to express how liberating it has been to accept and love my queerness, she stated on Instagram. That even though it took me a while to get here, it feels like coming home to myself in a way that has completely opened up my life, the speaker continued. I hope you had a good month. I’m going to keep having fun.
