The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 Release Date, Time, Plot and Schedule

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 promises a return to form as Din Djarin gets back into the swing of Mando things, with Grogu by his side. The Mandalorian Season 3 will consist of 8 episodes in total.

The Mandalorian Season 3 finally made its debut on Disney last week and the Star Wars spin-off is all set to release a new episode for fans soon. Fans have enjoyed watching Din Djarin, aka Mando, and Grogu go on adventures in seasons 1 and 2 and can’t wait to see what the upcoming episode of season 3 has in store for them.

Disney+ confirmed that The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 has a runtime of 42 minutes, 24 seconds. Fans will no doubt welcome this news with open arms, considering Episode 1, “Chapter 17: The Apostate,” clocked in at just over 35 minutes. “Chapter 17: The Apostate” is the shortest premiere in The Mandalorian’s run so far, as well as the shortest of any live-action Star Wars show released on Disney+ to date. The episode will premiere on March 8.

There are plenty of sci-fi properties that have the ability to take us to a galaxy far, far away, but arguably none of them quite measure up to this one. We can only be talking about Star Wars, surely? The iconic franchise began with A New Hope in 1977 and has since come a long way, branching out into the episodic live-action format with efforts like The Mandalorian.

Created by Jon Favreau, the series premiered with season 1 on Disney+ in 2019, inviting audiences to witness the events that transpired five years after Return Of The Jedi. Pedro Pascal portrays the titular Din Djarin and he’s finally back. With that in mind, let’s address The Mandalorian season 3 episode 2 release date and Disney+ schedule.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 Plot

Din Djarin’s atonement quest to visit the allegedly cursed and/or poisoned planet of Mandalore and bathe in its Living Waters beneath the mines begins. This episode will see Mando make a pitstop at Tatooine to visit mechanic Peli Motto, as well as build out the lore of Mandalorian culture and its different factions with the help of Bo-Katan. Plus, we get our first taste of just how much Grogu has developed in the years since we saw him last.
